Who this covers

This policy applies to the Tempo landing page at this domain and any data you submit through the waitlist form on it. Tempo is a focus training app for iOS, currently in pre-launch. We are not a company yet — Tempo is operated by an individual developer. When we refer to "we," "us," or "our," that is who you are dealing with.

What we collect

The only personal data this page collects is your email address, which you enter voluntarily when you join the waitlist. We do not collect your name, location, device information, or any other personal data through this form.

Your email is submitted via a form connected to Loops.so, the service we use to manage the waitlist. The data goes to Loops directly — we do not store it ourselves on any server we operate.

Why we collect it

We collect your email address for two purposes, depending on what you chose when you signed up:

• To notify you when Tempo opens to the public or when a beta spot becomes available.
• If you opted in as a beta tester: to reach out directly when we are ready to onboard testers and to gather feedback on the product.

We will not use your email for anything beyond what you signed up for. You will not receive newsletters, product updates, or marketing emails unless Tempo launches and you choose to stay subscribed at that point.

Legal basis for processing

Under GDPR, we process your email address on the basis of consent. By submitting the waitlist form, you are giving us permission to contact you for the reasons described above. You can withdraw that consent at any time by asking us to delete your entry — details below.

Third-party services

Two third-party services are involved when you use this page:

• Loops.so — our email and waitlist platform. Your email address is stored on their infrastructure. Loops processes data in accordance with their own privacy policy, which you can read at loops.so/privacy.
• Google Fonts — the fonts on this page (Space Grotesk, Fraunces, Source Serif 4) are loaded from Google's servers. When the page loads, your browser makes a request to Google, which means Google receives your IP address. We do not control this. Google's privacy policy is at policies.google.com/privacy. If you prefer to avoid this, you can block Google Fonts requests in your browser — the page will fall back to system fonts.

We do not use advertising networks, tracking pixels, social media embeds, or any other third-party scripts on this page.

Cookies

This page does not set any cookies. We do not use analytics, advertising, or session tracking. The only data that persists between your page visits is what you voluntarily submit through the form.

How long we keep your data

We keep your email on the waitlist until one of the following happens:

• You unsubscribe using the link in any email we send you.
• You contact us and ask us to remove you.
• Tempo launches and you do not engage with the onboarding communications — at which point we will clear inactive waitlist entries within a reasonable period.

Your rights

If you are in the European Union, EEA, or UK, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:

• Access — you can ask what data we hold about you.
• Deletion — you can ask us to remove your email from the waitlist at any time.
• Rectification — if you submitted the wrong email, we can correct it.
• Portability — you can ask for a copy of your data in a readable format.
• Object — you can object to us processing your data, which will result in deletion from the waitlist.
• Withdraw consent — since our legal basis is consent, you can withdraw it at any time. This does not affect anything we did before you withdrew it.

If you believe we are handling your data unlawfully, you have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

What we do not do

• We do not sell your email address or any other data to third parties.
• We do not use your data for advertising targeting.
• We do not share your data with anyone other than Loops.so, who processes it solely to deliver our communications.
• We do not send unsolicited email beyond what you signed up for.

Updates to this policy

If we make changes to this policy that affect how we handle your data, we will update the date at the top of this page. If the changes are significant — for example, if we add analytics or start using your data for a new purpose — we will email anyone on the waitlist to let them know before those changes take effect.
